This site preserves selected materials from the former Rational Recovery website created by Jack Trimpey. Much of the original site disappeared from the public web and survives primarily through archived copies.

Our goal is to preserve the practical teachings and tools that helped many people discover a self-directed alternative to AA and 12-Step recovery.

Original materials are presented with attribution to Jack & Lois Trimpey and Rational Recovery wherever possible.
